Lapel Pin Types
Century
Hard Enamel Lapel
Pins -
The
most popular pin
manufacturing
process used today.
An excellent and
less expensive
alternative to
Traditional Hard
Enamel, Century Hard
Enamel uses a resin
paste to achieve an
authentic, hard,
glasslike
appearance. Unlike
Traditional Hard
Enamel, Century Hard
Enamels can be
matched to meet your
exact PMS color
needs. |
Traditional
(Cloisonné) Hard
Enamel Lapel Pins
- An
art developed over
6,000 years ago in
China. Each design
is stamped into
metal. The recessed
areas are filled
with a glass paste,
(in limited colors),
and individually
hard fired at
1,400-degree
temperatures. A
beautiful hard glass
finish is created,
making Traditional
Hard Enamel the
choice for those who
require the very
best. |
Die-Struck

- In
place of enamel
colors, add elegance
to your pins using

express your message
with simplicity. A
variety of plating,
finishes and
textures can be
incorporated for
added style and
identity.
The perfect solution
for recognition and
award programs,
Die-Struck Medals &
Medallions
are
authentic symbols of
achievement.
Available as 2- or
3-dimensional dies,
with a variety of
finishes including
gold, silver and
copper plating,
sandblast, high
polish and antique
or matte. |
Etched
Soft Enamel Lapel
Pins
-
Your design is photo
etched into a bronze
base metal, creating
thin and shallow
recessed areas.
Enamel colors are
then injected into
the areas, creating
fine
color-between-the-lines
detail - not
possible with other
metal processed. An
epoxy dome can be
applied for added
protection and a
glossy effect. |
Stamped
Soft Enamel Lapel
Pins
-
Your design is
stamped into a
copper base metal
creating deep,
recessed areas.
Enamels are then
injected into the
areas about 3/4
full, achieving a
dimensional effect
of higher metal
walls with your
design. The enamels
are well protected
within the metal
walls and can be
left exposed for a
3D effect, or an
epoxy dome can be
applied for added
protection and a
glossy finish. |
Silkscreen
Printed Lapel Pins
are ideal for solid
color design
reproduction on a
metal or enamel
base. Colors are
printed one at a
time to create a
sharp, 100% printed
pin, or combination
enamel pin with
screen-printed
images or text for
added clarity. An
epoxy dome may be
applied for added
durability. |
Offset
Printed Lapel Pins
are the perfect
alternative when the
enamel fill process
is not compatible
with your design, or
when vivid high
color impact is your
goal. Your design is
separated into four
colors - CMYK,
enabling continuous
tone color
variations into your
pin design. An epoxy
dome is then applied
for added
durability. |
